custom pet portrait: Bubu
Bubu was a beloved friend who loved the beach and made his owners very happy.
I was commissioned to paint a portrait of this dear pet after he had passed.
The first step was to choose the perfect photo.
Next, I started with a sketch.
Then, after applying gold leaf to the canvas, I started painting.
The result is a 14-inch x 18-inch oil painting on gold leaf.
