When I was about 5 years old, my uncle Keith rescued a fawn whose mother had been hit by a car and raised her on his ranch in Beavercreek, Oregon. Her name was Ninny, and she and I were about the same maturity level, so we were fast friends. She even let me ride on her back. A few years later, she ran off to join a nearby herd of deer.
Fawns remind everyone that there is goodness, sweetness, and beauty in the world when we look for it, just like the time I spent with Ninny.
This is an acrylic painting on wood, with the edges painted and hanging hardware included, so it's ready to hang on your wall.
Pairs well with the other fawn painting: https://katiemiranda.com/products/fawn-2-acrylic-painting-8-x-8-inches
