This image of the Pieta, mother with hijab, son with keffiyeh, is one of the most striking pieces of social-political-religious art I have ever seen. Upon seeing it, we had to immediately purchase a print for our "Peace and Justice" church. This image is displayed on the sidewalk in front of our church. Thank You, Katie Miranda Al Ali!!
